I drove around for a little bit being disappointed and then realized I had driven here.

Solace
This evening I needed to escape. I'd had a great day and everything but I just needed to get away. When this happens I normally do one of three things. Go walking, swinging, or driving. Since it was nightfall I settled for driving. Sadly, the roads out here are not like they are back home. They are all straight, all connect, and all get you to the same place. I love the roads back home that wind around and around. I love when you never cross another road or rarely pass another human being.
I drove around for a little bit being disappointed and then realized I had driven here.
I have loved having this temple so close while I've been at school but I have never really appreciated the simple beauty of its design. But when I pulled up tonight and was greeted by this sight I knew I had found solace. I pulled up, turned off my lights, and just sat there thinking for a while. It was just what I needed.
I drove around for a little bit being disappointed and then realized I had driven here.
