I wish...

...I could read without getting a headache. For one, it would make long airplane rides go a lot faster. Also, I love reading! I love getting caught up in a good story so much that I loose a grip on reality. I love reading to the point the fiction becomes my reality.

See, the problem is, technically I need two different prescriptions for glasses. One for distance and one for reading. Because apparently, my eyes decided they didn't want to work and they both decided on different ways of not working. My doctor always said my eyes might stop changing when I stopped growing. Yea, no, not growing but I still need a new prescription at least every year.

But who wants two different prescriptions! Either I have to get two pairs of glasses that I flip between all day long or I get bifocals. Bifocals!? I'm 19!! In my perfect world I would be able to get contacts to wear that take care of the distance visions and then I would have glasses to slip on whenever I was reading. But, alas, the glasses would have to have some super awesome way of cancelling out the distance prescription so that they didn't get mixed up and just make everything worse.

Maybe I should just get over it and get the second pair of glasses...
